dragon figurine WIP3 by hail-the-oblivious dragon figurine WIP3 by hail-the-oblivious
I really came forward with this, yet, there is still so much left to do. It's quite a pain in the ass lol But I like it so far.

I also started to do a rider figurine (of some sort).
Magic Sculpt and Wax modelling mass on copper wire mesh, possibly over 30h until now.

Questions? Feel free to ask!

Wow, that is one awesome figurine. :) I was just wondering, it says in your comment that you used a wire mesh, so when you put the clay on it, do you put it on all at once? Or do you put on the body, and then add detail...then add the legs, etc?

thank you! well I didn't put the entire clay on at once, I worked step by step forming the neck, then the body, tail, and limbs. I started to add detail once I was finished with the complete wax base of this figurine.

My mom and brother asked what materials do you use ( the brand and stuff :p ), my lil' bro has always loved to model.

I used wax modelling mass "Fantasia Knet" [link] for the base (just in white, also German brand tho)
and this [link] for the details, "Magic Sculp" the name. It's two compenent modelling mass using a hardener component and a resin component that starts to harden when mixed together.

If you google "Magic Sculp" you find there's also a "Magic Sculpt" modelling mass... (note the t at the end of "sculpt") But I'm not 100% sure if that is the same product.
